If you're looking for a Honda Prologue for sale, then you must already know that this model is Honda's bold entry into the electric SUV segment. The 2024 Honda Prologue combines tech, comfort, and performance in a sleek, eco-friendly package. This highly anticipated addition to Honda's already impressive lineup is sure to please. At Middletown Honda, we have the 2024 Honda Prologue for your perusal—but first, let's take a look at each of the three trim options to help make the decision process a little easier.

An Overview of the Honda Prologue

In recent years, Honda has turned its attention to electrification, aligning with the global shift toward more sustainable transportation. Recognizing the importance of reducing carbon emissions, Honda set ambitious goals to phase out internal combustion engine vehicles and focus entirely on electric vehicles (EVs) by 2040.

In 2022, Honda unveiled the Honda Prologue, its first fully electric SUV, designed to compete in the fast-growing EV market. The Prologue is not only a leap forward in Honda's electric vehicle lineup but also a significant step toward the company's goal of carbon neutrality. Featuring an all-electric powertrain, advanced tech like Google Built-In, and an impressive driving range, the Prologue embodies Honda's vision for the future of transportation: combining performance, sustainability, and innovation in one compelling package.

All 2024 Prologue trims come standard with the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features, Google Built-In, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and HondaLink connected by OnStar. The latter is another impressive feature in the form of a customizable app that truly puts you in the driving seat; it provides access to charging features, charging status, a map of charging stations, and charging settings specific to your Prologue.

The Honda Sensing suite is an impressive array of driver assistance tech for today's busy drivers. After activation, these safety features use sensor inputs to increase awareness and response time. When necessary, Honda Sensing can also provide braking and steering assistance. The suite is comprised of many great features, such as Lane Keep Assist, which provides necessary braking and steering assistance to keep you from leaving your lane.

Similarly, Blind Zone Steering Assist is a proactive approach that gently counter-steers the wheel in the presence of unexpected objects; this is helpful for preventing unintended lane changes. Side Blind Zone Alert works in conjunction with lane change alerts, with radar sensors that alert you to vehicles in your blind zone when you're changing lanes. Adaptive Cruise Control is an intelligent system that adjusts cruising speeds to match the vehicle in front of you, including slowing, stopping, and accelerating again.

Automatic Emergency Braking works in conjunction with Forward Collision Alert and Front Pedestrian Alert to apply brake pressure when it determines a collision can't be avoided. Rear Cross Traffic Braking gives audible and visual alerts when undetected vehicles approach from the side; when necessary, the brakes can also be automatically applied. Rear Pedestrian Alert is a new camera system that can sense approaching pedestrians and alert the driver with audible and visual alerts. Rear Park Assist alerts you when you get close to other vehicles, making parallel parking and tight parking spots a breeze to navigate. Lastly, Surround Vision is a multi-view camera system that allows a complete view of the space around your vehicle; this is only present on the Prologue's top trim.

The 2024 Prologue has three trim levels, all of which are powered by an 85-kWh battery pack. The standard powertrain for the first two trims is a single-motor system in front-wheel drive, which gets 212 hp and 236 lb-ft of instant torque. Alternatively, there is an available dual-motor all-wheel drive system that gets 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque; this dual-motor powertrain is standard on the top-tier trim. The single-motor front-wheel drive setup gets you an EPA-estimated 296 miles of range, while the dual-motor all-wheel drive setup gets a slightly lower 281 miles of range.[a]

The 2024 Prologue can be had with one of three excellent all-electric trims—the EX, Touring, or Elite—but which trim is the best fit for you?

The Prologue EX

The EX is the starting point for the 2024 Honda Prologue trim lineup. Despite being the entry-level option, it comes packed with a wealth of features that any driver will appreciate. This trim is a comfortable ride for everything from daily commutes to weekend road trips.

For those looking to make their first EV purchase without breaking the bank, the Prologue EX offers the perfect mix of affordability and advanced technology. Honda has equipped the EX with a robust safety suite and enough tech features to ensure a connected and convenient driving experience.

The Honda Prologue EX features interior comforts like heated front seats, 60/40-split rear seats, dual-zone climate control, and one-touch turn indicators. From an exterior perspective, the EX is an attractive-looking vehicle with highlights that include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, auto high-beam headlights, and heated side mirrors.

The Prologue Touring

The Touring trim takes a noticeably different focus, combining convenience with luxury and comfort. If you're looking for something a little more premium, this trim brings upscale comfort and advanced tech to the Prologue family.

The 2024 Prologue Touring has some standouts that include a panoramic moonroof, leather-trimmed seats, a Bose premium audio system, LED fog lights, and a power liftgate with hands-free access. The cabin is a welcoming environment with heated front seats and a driver's seat with 10-way power adjustment, power lumbar support, and two-position memory; there is also a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The exterior offers the same features as the EX trim, aside from the panoramic moonroof and power tailgate. The Touring is a trim designed for those who value extra comfort and high-tech functionality, making it a fun and economical vehicle to drive.

The Prologue Elite

If you're someone who prioritizes luxury, technology, and performance in equal measure, the 2024 Prologue Elite is designed with you in mind. This top-tier trim brings everything together in a sporty, premium driving experience.

Standing apart from the EX and Touring trims, the Elite has all-wheel drive standard, as well as the "Sport" dynamic drive mode. Its athleticism also yields larger alloy wheels (21-inch) and self-sealing tires. Inside the Elite, you'll find heated and ventilated front seats, a Head-Up Display (HUD), and "Welcome Lighting," a feature that adds a sleek touch with ample lighting beneath the car when you use the keyfob, touch the door handle, or open any of the doors. You also get a heated wiper zone, rear privacy glass, and illuminated footwells, beverage holders, and door panels.

This trim is perfect for long road trips, providing drivers and passengers alike with access to charging capabilities, including front, center console, and second-row USB ports, along with a 110V power outlet in the rear console. The 2024 Honda Prologue Elite is designed for drivers who demand top-tier performance along with a luxurious driving experience.
